Sarmede – Il Paese delle Fiabe 2014

IT | Sulle dolci colline della pedemontana trevigiana, in uno scenario suggestivo ai piedi del Cansiglio, si trova il Paese delle Fiabe. A Sarmede sabato 25 ottobre presso la Casa della Fantasia si apre la XXXII Mostra Internazionale d’Illustrazione per l’Infanzia che durera’ fino al 24 gennaio con esposizioni, visite guidate, laboratori per bambini e corsi d’illustrazione.

Tutto inizio’ quando un cittadino ceco alla fine degli anni ’60 si trasferi’ a Rugolo di Sarmede e sprigiono’ il suo talento di illustratore, artista ed eccentrico personaggio. Non un uomo qualunque, ma Stepan Zavrel artista di fama mondiale, che oltre ad essersi costruito la sua abitazione tra la natura prorompente, decoro’ anche i muri del paese di Sarmede. Nel 1983 inauguro’ inoltre la mostra completamente dedicata all’illustrazione d’infanzia che attira un pubblico da tutta Italia. Il paese si trasforma in un libro aperto con illustrazioni di fiabe che spuntano ad ogni angolo degli edifici. Dove la magia fatata dei colori ti avvolge in un vortice di ricordi e memorie d’infanzia per liberare la mente in un sogno fatato.

Questa edizione conta 300 illustrazioni di 38 artisti da tutto il mondo e l’ospite e’ Giovanni Manna, illustratore fiorentino. Mentre per la sezione Fiabe del Mondo e’ dedicato alle fiabe della Scozia. Venite a scoprire il magico mondo di Sarmede!

EN | In the foothills of the Prealp in a picturesque setting overlooking the town of fairy tales, Sarmede. On Saturday, October 25th in Sarmede at the House of Imagination opens the 32nd International Exhibition of Illustrations for Children that will last until January 24th, with several exhibitions, guided tours and children’s workshops.

It all begins when a Czech citizen at the end of the 60s moved to Rugolo in Sarmede and shows his talent as an illustrator, artist and eccentric character. Not an ordinary man, but Stepan Zavrel a world-renowned artist, who builds his house among the exuberant nature. In 1983 he inaugurates the exhibition focusing on children’s illustration that has been attracting people from all over Italy. In the meanwhile he also draws some illustrations on the house’s walls. And the little town looks like an open book with fairy tale illustrations that pop up here and there. In this way you feel like you are surrounded by colors in a relaxed and beautiful whirlwind of childhood memories. Just let your mind dream.

This edition features 300 illustrations and 38 artists from around the world and the edition’s guest is Giovanni Manna an illustrator from Florence. Whereas the section Fairy Tales of the World is dedicated to Scotland. Come and discover the magical world of Sarmede, life is a kind of magic though!
