IT | “L’Incanto delle Vesti” e’ la mostra che fino al 16 novembre espone riproduzioni fedeli degli abiti rappresentati nelle opere di Paolo Veronese. L’esposizione, che si tiene presso Villa Marini Rubelli a S. Zenone degli Ezzelini, si va ad incastonare in una piu’ complessa rete di eventi dedicati al Veronese in un itinerario che sta coinvolgendo tutto il Veneto.
12 abiti maschili e femminili tratti da famose opere di Paolo Veronese creati da Michele Vello attraverso la tecnica del taglio storico, ossia la riproduzione fedele con tagli e accorgimenti tipici del ‘500. L’opera in questo modo prende vita agli occhi del visitatore, come l’abito di Giustiniana Giustiniani che ci si mostra in tutto il suo splendore. I dipinti del Veronese vengono studiati da un diverso punto di vista, tanto da paragonarlo ad un creatore di moda. La bottega che diventa atelier, il pittore che diventa coutierer. Tutto cio’ per sottolineare l’importanza della moda italiana del ‘500, la quale si espande in tutta Europa, tanto che quel groviglio di gusto e creativita’ si dice persista tuttora nella nostra cultura, nel senso estetico e nelle abilita’ artigianali. EN | “The Charm of Clothes” is the exhibition open until November 16th which shows reproductions of the clothes featured in Paolo Veronese’s artworks. The exhibition held in Villa Marini Rubelli in S. Zenone degli Ezzelini is a part of networking events dedicated to Veronese all over the Veneto region.
12 men and women clothes from famous Veronese’s frescoes or paintings created by Michele Vello through a specific cutting technique, a faithful 16th-century reproduction. The artwork comes to life at the eyes of the visitor such as the magnificent Giustina Giustiniani’s dress. For this exhibition Veronese’s paintings has been studied in great detail from a different point of view, so as to compare him to a fashion designer. The shop becomes an atelier, the painter becomes a coutierer. It is rather important to emphasize the Italian fashion in 16th century, which spread throughout Europe. Good taste and creativity is said to still persist in our culture since then in the sense of beauty and craft ability.
